Subscription Terms
Effective June 18, 2026. Godward+ is an optional paid subscription. These are the billing terms in plain language; they are part of our Terms of Service. You always see the exact price and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase.
Plans
Godward has a free plan and Godward+. The free plan does not expire. Godward+ is $9.99/month or $59.99/year (USD) — the annual plan works out to about $5/month. Your first reflection is always free, before any paywall.
Free trial
New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Before it starts we show the trial length, the price after the trial, and the renewal date. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically to a paid subscription at the price shown. We’ll remind you before the trial ends, and you can cancel during the trial at no charge.
Auto-renewal
After any free trial, Godward+ renews automatically for the same period until you cancel. Before you purchase, we clearly show the full recurring price and billing period, the renewal date, any trial terms, and how to cancel. No countdown deception, no hidden annual charge, and no spiritual pressure in the paywall — ever.
Who you’re buying from
Web purchases are sold and processed by Paddle (paddle.com) as our Merchant of Record, and entitlements are synced across your devices. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by those stores, which manage those renewals. Applicable taxes or VAT are added where required.
How to cancel
You can cancel anytime:
- Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- Google: Play Store → Subscriptions.
- Web: from your account settings or your Paddle receipt link.
Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep Godward+ until the end of the current period, then move back to the free plan. Cancelling never deletes your reflections or your account — to delete your account, use Privacy & data.
Refunds
Refunds are described in our Refund Policy. In short: store purchases follow the store’s policy; web purchases are reviewed within 14 days and issued through Paddle; and your statutory rights are always honored.
Failed payments and restore
If a renewal payment fails, we allow a short grace period and retry before access ends, so it isn’t cut off abruptly. You can restore an active subscription on a new device.
Price changes
If we ever change the price, we’ll tell you in advance so you can decide before it takes effect. Changes apply to your next renewal and, where required by law, only with your consent. No hidden fees, ever.
