Terms of Service
Effective June 18, 2026.These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Auxility, Inc.about your use of Godward — our website, apps, and related services (together, the “Service”). Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, AI & Reflection Disclaimer, and Subscription Terms, which are part of these Terms.
1. Who operates Godward
Godward is operated by Auxility, Inc., a Delaware corporation located at 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, DE 19958, United States(“Godward,” “we,” “us”). You can reach us at support@godward.me or +1 610-245-8039.
2. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Godward. If you use the Service on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.
3. Who can use Godward
You must be 18 or older to create an account and use the Service. Godward is offered for personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure; let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
4. What Godward is — and is not
Godward is a companion for daily reflection grounded in Scripture. Its responses are generated by AI to help you reflect; Scripture quotations are drawn verbatim from licensed translations within the 66-book Protestant canon. Godward is not a source of religious authority, doctrine, or professional advice, and it does not speak for God or any church. It is not a substitute for professional, medical, mental-health, or pastoral care, and it does not provide crisis support or real-time monitoring. The AI can be wrong. Please read our AI & Reflection Disclaimer. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your area.
5. Your reflections and content
You keep ownership of the reflections and other content you write. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate the Service for you — for example, to generate responses, save your history, and let you export or delete it. We do not sell your reflections, use them to target advertising, or use them to train AI models without your separate, explicit consent. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to break the law or infringe others’ rights;
- harass, abuse, or harm others, or upload content that is unlawful or violates these Terms;
- reverse-engineer, scrape, bulk-extract, resell, or attempt to access the Service or its data other than as intended;
- interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its security; or
- misrepresent Godward’s AI responses as professional, medical, or authoritative religious advice.
We may limit, suspend, or end access that violates these Terms or risks harm to others or the Service.
7. Subscriptions and payments
Godward is free to start. Godward+ is an optional paid plan ($9.99/month or $59.99/year, USD, with a 7-day free trial). The exact price, billing period, and renewal date are always shown before you confirm. Web purchases are sold and processed by Paddle (paddle.com) as our Merchant of Record; purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are billed by those stores under their terms. Full details, including auto-renewal and cancellation, are in our Subscription Terms, and refunds are in our Refund Policy.
8. Intellectual property
Godward, including its design, software, and editorial content, is owned by Auxility, Inc. and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service under these Terms. Bible translations are used under license from their publishers; you may not redistribute licensed Scripture text outside the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or any reflection will be accurate, reliable, suitable for your situation, or uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Auxility, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decisions you make based on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auxility, Inc. from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time; if a change is material, we’ll give reasonable notice and update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using Godward at any time, and you can delete your account yourself from Privacy & data; deletion takes effect after a 7-day cooling-off period, during which you can cancel it. We may suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, if you violate these Terms or where necessary to protect users or comply with law.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us first at support@godward.me so we can try to resolve it informally. Disputes that cannot be resolved will be subject to the courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
